Job Description:

This organization supports large-scale low voltage infrastructure projects across commercial and institutional environments. We are currently hiring Low Voltage Cable Technicians for an 18-month prevailing wage project based entirely in Nashville, TN. All work will take place in a hospital environment.

This is a hands-on field role focused on installation and support of structured cabling systems. This is not a lead position and does not require crew management. There is no travel associated with this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, route, and secure structured cabling, low voltage cabling, and data cabling systems
  • Pull, dress, label, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
  • Install J-hooks, cable racks, innerduct, and support pathways
  • Assist with drilling, coring, and limited conduit work as needed
  • Follow cable management and labeling standards
  • Support testing and certification of cabling systems
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas in active hospital environments
  • Follow all safety standards, site rules, and healthcare facility protocols


Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Cable Technician, or Data Technician
  • Hands-on experience with structured cabling and data cabling installations
  • Ability to read basic prints and follow installation layouts
  • Comfortable working in hospital or occupied commercial environments
  • Ability to identify cable color codes
  • Comfortable working on lifts and ladders when required
  • Must provide basic hand tools and PPE
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Valid drivers license
