Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician for an active project requiring hands-on installation of access control hardware and REX devices within live data center environments. This is an opportunity with immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Install access control readers, sounders, and request-to-exit (REX) devices with resistors
• Complete approximately 100 REX with resistor installations per project scope
• Apply heat shrink using heat guns to ensure clean, code-compliant terminations
• Work within active data center environments while adhering to strict site protocols and safety requirements
• Follow low-voltage installation best practices and maintain professionalism in sensitive, high-security spaces
• Coordinate with project leadership to stay on schedule and meet quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with access control installation
• Demonstrated experience with REX devices and resistor wiring
• Proficiency with heat shrink application and heat gun use
• Prior experience working in active data center or mission-critical environments preferred
• Must own personal hand tools
• Must be able to pass site badging (background check required — badging process begins next week)
