Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to support the installation, maintenance, programming, and service of access control and CCTV systems. This hands-on role involves ensuring high-quality security system deployment while maintaining strong safety, service, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and service security systems including access control and CCTV.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and ensure proper implementation.
  • Develop and execute work plans for installation and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security systems.
  • Follow safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with project documentation, time tracking, and reporting.
  • Perform site evaluations and functional testing of installed systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  • Support project teams throughout the installation and service lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with security system installation, programming, and service.
  • Experience working with access control and CCTV systems.
  • Relevant technical education or certifications in electronics or security systems preferred.
  • Certifications in platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, or Avigilon are a strong plus.
  • Data center experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage technical workflow and installation tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable performing physical installation and maintenance work on job sites.
